Summer is here, accompanied with heat, sweat, dust and excessive sun exposure which can easily damage its delicate cells and pores, therefore our skin needs special and thorough care.
Here are some effective tips to take the best care of your skin during summers.
Hydrate your skin regularly:
Sweating is an essential and natural biological process; a way to regulate our body temperature. As the temperature rises, our body produces more sweat in order to keep us cool and thus preventing from overheating, but due to sweating water content in the body reduces drastically, resulting in dry and wrinkled skin.
Therefore, to maintain the right moisture in the body, you should drink at least 4-5 liters of water a day. For the skin, wash off your face frequently with water and use a hydrating cleanser at least twice a day to remove all the impurities and moisturise from your face with Hydrating Sheet Mask- that contains essential moisturising agents along with soothing and healing agents, like Aloe Vera, Allantoin, Green Tea etc. to keep your skin, soft, smooth and supple.
Cleanse and Exfoliate:
Summers aggravate oil secretion especially on the oily skin and it attracts more dirt than normal and dry skin. So, it is paramount to cleanse the skin twice a day with lukewarm water as it dissolves the oil more efficiently compared to cold water. Also, in order to remove the dead and flaky skin, exfoliate at least twice a week.

Protect from UV Rays:
Avoid over exposure to sun during afternoon hours as the intensity of UV rays at this time is extremely high and can have harmful effects on the skin, like sunburn, rashes, sagging, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, thickening, and also aggravate general signs of aging.
So, while stepping out cover your whole body properly and make sure to apply sunscreen with suitable SPF preferably SPF -15 , SPF-30, at least 15-30 minutes prior stepping out in the sun. Also, it is advisable to apply sunscreen twice or thrice while out in the sunlight for long hours.
